Product-Market Fit

Product-market fit (PMF) is the degree to which a product satisfies a strong market demand. Marc Andreessen defines it as "being in a good market with a product that can satisfy that market."

Before PMF, a startup is trying not to die. After PMF, a startup is trying to keep up with growth. Signs of PMF include exponential organic growth, high retention, and customers getting angry if the product goes down.
